When I started my computer today zonealarm said it had detected a new network.. what option is there to not allow this? Not finding any I had no choice. It listed an i.p. address and added it as a subnet? I have no idea what that is. What should I do? There should be no networking on this computer at all.. It's a home computer and the only one in this home.

How does your PC connect to the internet?
Directly through ADSL / Cable modem? Via a router? Wired or wireless?

I have DSL and Zonealarm, every time I reboot I get this message. Even if I rename the 'network' I still get this message. I think it is normal if you have broadband internet, to let you know the internet is found and for you to verify that you want to be connected to it.
