Just curious why? Also, If you're not logged into the console, Will MqSeries still run?

TIA!

Adam

When you say it won't work, what are you getting? I've used MQExplorer through Terminal Services CLient, but there's a bit of a gotcha: Even though you've logged on to the server by TSC, you have to display the Queue Manager on that box as a Remote Queue Manager on the console! If your right click Queue Managers, you'll get a dialogue box, and you'll have to select the Remote Queue Manager option, then fill in the name and the connection information (can be supplied by yiur MQ administrator).

MQSeries will still be running. The Explorer is just a means of communicating with it for administration.

ok?

Hey I'm trying to set a a test Queue manager with a test local channel and I still can't show it remotely? How do I set up the queue for remote managing?

Thanks Again!

Adam

It's a W2K terminal services issue, works OK with W2K3 and XP.

Suggest using either VNC for access, or alternatively MQJexplorer or similar to remotely admin MQ.
