Why doesn't my project work in release mode?

I have a Access backend for a vb.net 2.0 front end when i run the project in debug mode every thing goes fine, but when i run in release mode i get an error when i try to fill the items data table
"No value given for one or more required parameters."
Error code "-2147217904"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i solved the problem myself.

i was using a wrong file in release mode where there were some fields missing
