i have noticed that when my system idle process is running about 20% of cpu in task manager when machine is idle the mouse pointer starts to stick as you drag it across the screen? I have cured this in the past by loading optimal settings in bios but not working this time?

is your mouse optical or roller? If Its a roller mouse try taking it apart and cleaning it. mine was doing the same as yours and this turned out to be the problem
