Why does it take 45 seconds for 123 files to appear in XP folders?

Is your lotus folder on the network?
We experienced this with an XP machine on a small network. It turned out to be TCP/IP related. The only resolution we found was to load another network protocol on the machine, then disabled IP on the server for that network card. I couldn't find a way to disable IP on Windows XP.
Netbeui is not supported on XP, but it can be installed. Follow MS knowledge base artice Q301041
