I did a little flash clip (I'm by far no expert) for a co-worked based on an inside joke (it won't make much sense to most of you, but it's at <a href=" target="new"> you'll have to right-click and choose START.)
I used Photoshop to manipulate the photos, then saved each photo as a PNG so that I could have transparency. On the whole, it isn't bad. But I'm surprised that the the quality of the images when they're in a motion tween. They're a little jagged. I saved it w/ no compression and 100 for jpeg quality.
In one part, he holds a patron bottle up close the viewer. His hand is actually a high res photo, and it looks good the closer it gets, but the edges are still jagged. The PNG that was imported isn't.
Just looking for some tips. I was trying for something similar to a JibJab type of cartoon.
