why CA having Exchange agent & Exchange add-on premium

I know the benefit if using Exchange agentadd-on premium, you can do mailboxes Single instance backup, filtering etc..

My question why CA still having two Exchange agent ,
they called them 1- Exchange agent.
2- Exchange add-on premium.

if Exchange add-on premium is better, why they give us the option to select the other exchange agent?

 
You need the Exchange Agent license before you can buy the add-on Premium. Like it says : it is an add-on, so you pay more.
 
Are you sure I need to buy both , because that it will be very expensive...
 
If you try to install Exchange add on Premium , it will install Exchange agent also , while selecting the items you want to install you can't just select Exchange Add-on Premium alone.

So the license for Exchange Add-On Premium included both .

You need only to buy Exchange Add-on.


 
Not better just does more. Not everyone cares to backup at the mailbox level.
