When I go to Network Connections in XP I can't see my network adapter, it all works fine but I just can't see it to make any changes.

When I refresh the view, the following message appears.

The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine, please make sure the network connections service is enabled and running.

But I have checked the network connection service and it's fine.

Does anyone know what's wrong.?

Cheers.

If anyones interested, I just reinstalled XP and it cured this problem without having to reinstall everything else.

I think the problem may have been caused by me running a program called Win Regcleaner. So be careful what you run to clean your machines folks.

Cheers
