Why are form maximizing? 1

It's seems that the forms on a database that I am working on are maximizing on being opened even though I do not issue Docmd.Maximize in the on open event. I have even copied a form that has no maximizing command in the on open event from another database into my database and it maximizes on being opened. What could be causing this?

it remembers how you last closed it.
click the restore button (top right) of form, and then close it. When you next open it should remember not to maximize.
