why am i showing false bugs?

After updating my site file, i am showing link warning bugs on several of my pages. however, when i open the pages and activate the link warning button, nothing is highlighted, and i can't find any broken links if i preview the pages in my browser. what's up?

I get them too, infact my site is filled with those little green encrusted arrows that indicate bad links. Yet when I upload my files to the server, everything works. At first I thought it was because my index page is .shtml instead of .html, but that isn't it. Perhaps it's a bug in the program. Anyone else out there have an answer to this??

Yes I have that problem. The little green critters don't match reality. Because of that, I don't use'em. The rest of the program is pretty good. I'm on a PC. Maybe it works on Macs.

This has happened to me as well, and was very perplexing for quite a while. The bugs dissapear when the files are open, but reappear when the files are closed. I checked the syntax in the HTML source code, but nothing came up that would get rid of the mysterious bugs. Finally, I happened to notice that there was a duplicate line of HTML that referred to a component I was using in my files. One of them had the wrong file path even though the syntax was correct. Once I deleted the duplicate line of code, the bug disappeared. This has worked for all of my buggy files. A friend tried this sucessfully as well. Hope it works for the rest of you who have gotten used to seeing those nasty little green things!

Yes I get these too. Blasted little creatures! While I do not know exactly why this occurs I do know it has something to do with components. It only appears on pages where I have components (which is most of them!).

I mostly see them on stationary pages that have components inside of the stationary.
