I use the same format every issue - white print no stroke on black background. This time: Appears fine on screen but print only shows black bckgd. I add white stroke to text - it prints text as white stroke black fill. I remove black background and text stroke. It prints as plain black text. Have searched Adobe site and upgraded to 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 - no change.

Please help...

Is black set to overprint? Are you defining the white text as 'paper' or as 'white'?

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

Overprint is not checked for any settings. I checked and double checked. I've tried the text as 'white' and as 'paper'. I've even gone back into past issues to check the settings there but on printing them as a test it does the same thing - no text appears. They worked fine at the time.
I'm beginning to think it could be a printer issue. Our Konika printer has one setting that doesn't read the fonts from InDesign and it manages to print white on that. The setting which is supposed to accept InDesign is what is not working - and now it's just plain playing up (the printer)... Thanks for your help. Will keep trying.
