Which User CD do I use with 3.0DT Admin CD? 3

Hopefully a simple question from a simple user - I have upgraded our 403DT based system from 2.1.14 to 3.0DT which I understand is the last of the line for the DT systems. I can only download the 3.0DT Admin maint release from the Ayaya website (there just does not seem to be any other version listed).

So which "User" cd version should I use?

3.0.562 DT = 2.1.16
3.0.551 DT = 2.1.15
3.0.544 DT = 2.1.14
3.0.535 DT = 2.1.13
3.0.531 DT = 2.1.12

I don't think there ia a 3.0 DT just the above, I may be wrong or were you abbreviating?

3.0 DT is 2.1 with the capabilities of triallicenses.
You'll have to use the latest 2.1.20 user CD and 2.1.26 VMPro CD.
Some people have reported a bug in the 3.0DT manager software: when merging a config the IPOffice reboots or gets corrupt. Using a later 3.2 or 4.0 manager should solve this problem.
I think there was also a patched 3.0DT manager version although I don't have it.

do not use 3.0(578) Manager. it WILL cause corruption. use latest 3.2/4.0 instead.

Jamies advice is spot on.

The Manager version for 2.1 78 and 3.0 578 will crash the system and currupt your conifg on a merge.


Instead download the 3.0 578 bin.
ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/3_0DT/3_0_578BINS.zip

Download a reliable manager.
ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/3_2GA_Builds/ADMIN/ADMIN3_2_57.exe

Replace the bins from this install with the ones you have downloaded.

You will then need the user apps

I think this answers your question in full.

User = 2.1 20
VM Pro = 2.1 26

Firmware bins = 3.0 578
Manager = 3.2 57
