Does anyone recommend a good TFTP server? Currently I am running Solarwinds but it seems that the phones only come up at about 2-3 at a time. This poses a problem because one overseas location is prone to power outages and it causes significant downtime when the phones load slowly. Is the Avaya TFTP server good? Also if I try it, I am guessing I can convert it to a service?

Thanks,

Greg

The Avaya TFTP server (originally Walusoft) is a light-weight and pretty good tftp server. I don't think it can be run as a service, but when you put it in the startup folder, it should have almost the same effect.
One problem we have encountered though, is that you should leave the client limit to a max of 30 simultaneous clients. When configuring it to an indefinite number, we have seen situations where the application crashes regularly.

Thanks alot guys. I will look into those tftp servers.
