Hi There

I have Symantec Backup Exec 11d on Win 2k3 server and 8 win agents, with IBM HH LTO2 backup device.

one day of last month, it only backed up 1/3 size within regular hours, I rebooted the server, it fixed.

Starting from last Wes, it show I/O device error, As per IBM, I change the extenal SCSI cable, upgrade firmware, reintall symantec driver yesterday, the hardware error message is gone, but again, it takes regular hour back up 1/3 only last night.

Today, IBM and I tested speed and hardware by ITDT, everything is OK.

I rebooted server lots of time since last week, and today I reboot the backup device as well. if this situation happen again tomorrrow, what should I do?

upgrading from 11d to 12d would help? any advice? please help

Thanks

Problem Fixed.

what I did is just reboot the Backup Device. problem is sovled!

after that, I have to enable some service on servers to pass test in Resource Credentials.

One more thing, couple of files are skipped all the time, however, AOFO was disable before as well, any idea?

Thanks
