which one is best proxy for solaris

I want to install proxy server on solaris system.Can anybody suggest me best proxy which support to socks5 and
from client end any operating system machine use this proxy.

Hi,

I had implemented socsk server when I was back in bangalore,India and I found netscap proxy server to be good and easy configure product. It finally depends what are the requirements out of the proxy server and is it just socks proxying or would you be needing http/mail/telnet/ftp and other services also to be proxied...if so download a free version on TIS FWTK which would help you to go ahead with telnet-gw, plug-gw and ftp-gw. But for socks I found netscape to be quiet good.
