I have a layout already setup for a Proposal system. The relationships are as follows :

Proposal Table Line Item Table Part Table

PropID =PropID
PartID =PartID
Various Lookups to Parts

Everything works properly, and my Proposal layout for printing is based on the Line Item Table with a Header and Footer, with the Body being various fields in the Line Items Table.

However, here is my problem. I want to create another layout for a Sales Order. This layout has alot of legal mumbo jumbo. When I put all of this data in the headers and footers it stretches to more than a page of just static text. When I try to go to Preview mode on the layout it will not let me. Is there a way to break a footer across pages? If not what is the proper approach?

Thanks in advance!!!

If you just need a little bit more room, you can try reducing the layout margins. I think the default is 36 px but you could get away with less than that. The other option is to delete the actual footer part and place the footer text as static on the bottom of each page. Sometimes blocks on text shrink up even though they appear in browse and preview mode that they don't fit. Layout work is always trial and error. :-(

Good Luck.
