Which is the best configuracion?

Hello,

I have one PIII 800 and i have
one hard disk
one cd-rom
one cd-rw/dvd

i have
primary master hard disk
primary slave cd-rom
secundary master cd-rw/dvd

is this the best configuracion?
Give me your opinion.

Should work fine, but I always put the cd-roms on the same IDE controller. I don't know if it would really make a difference, but I think I read somewhere that it's more efficient for copying from cd to cd...

yes you have the best configuration the cd writer should always be on its own ide channel because ide only has a limited bandwith and cannot multitask on the chain. therefor if the cdrw was on the same chain as the cd-rom/Hard drive your bandwith over the ide channel would slow down. reduceing preformance
