which is 2nd processor?

hello....we had an error message on our proliant 3000 indicating the 2nd processor is dead. I ordered a new one. Any one know where/how I can find out which of the processors is the 2nd one?

It should be silkscreened on the motherboard. If not look up the model on the Compaq site.

With most Comapaq servers there is a diagram on the inside of the lid of the server. This should show where the major components are located. Failing this go to the compaq Web Site http:\\ you should be able to find diagrams for all Compaq servers
