which in AIX

Hi all,

anybody knows why I can which an executable file but I cannot execute in?

e.g.
/home > which testing
/home/klins/testing

/home > testing
testing: command not found

What is $PATH?
# echo $PATH

If PATH contains "/home/klins", but not "/home" or "." then the results are expected.

Are you using the Korn Shell? Try the "official" command: whence
I hope it works...
