Which files can I safely delete

Since I got my new palm, I've gone a bit mad on the software installing, so now I'm out of space on my mighty 2Mb Palm Zire.

I uninstalled some of the apps from my palm, but I'm not sure which files I should or should not remove
eg
Graffiti 15k
SDDIPalmDB 12k
SF-EE_SysHeap 1k
Temp Install Data 5K
...and lots more

I have two queries:

How can I find out which files are not necessary (can be safely deleted), and

How can I reset my Palm to factory settings?
