Dear All,

we want to replaced our cisco 3600 as the WAN provider complain about the RAM and other features and it's no longer support by cisco.
CAn you help me define the exact components that need to be order to have 2 cisco 3800 configure in autofailover, please?
CISCO3845-HSEC/K9 -C3845-VSEC-CCME/K9- HWIC-4ESW -HWIC-1GE/SFP
what we need is voice priority, QoS

regards

can you do a "show hardware" on your currrent router and post the output here? that can help us determine newer equivalents for what you already have.

the current is a Cisco 3640 with 2 ethernet cards
1- 4 ports with 3 in used
1- 1 port in used

thx

I have received two proposals:
Router (first proposal)
1 x CISCO3845-HSEC/K9
1 x C3845-VSEC-CCME/K9
1 x HWIC-4ESW
1x HWIC-1GE-SFP

Router (second proposal)
1 x CISCO3845-HSEC/K9
1 x C3845-VSEC-CCME/K9
2 x HWIC-2FE

thx

Do you want 10mbps on your LAN or 100? I'd go with the second proposal---no reason for fiber to the router, not with 10mbps on the LAN...
