My friend is having a DIrect TV internet connection at home. Seems one end of the cable is fixed to the direct tv and other end is a USB where he fixes his laptop get hooked to the internet.

He also has a wireless router and his laptop has a wireless network card. He is not able to use the wireless hub, since it does not have USB port connection and only a regular RJ 45 network port.

I am not able to find adapters..Could anyone point me to the current link.

sounds strange but if he has a usb port on the laptoptry to plug the usb into that. some systems do have a built in modem built in and the signal is sent out through the usb port, so its made to plug right into the computer.
i have worked on a system like that once.
