Which "allow media overide" should I select within the VERITAS: NetBackup graphical user interface (GUI) to enable the reuse of 500 tapes that were used in an EMC Electronic Data management(EDM)system. The tapes are hcart and were used by STK 9940_B tape drives. I want to use them in VERITAS:NetBackup. The possibilities in VERITAS: NetBackup to choose from are ANSI,TAR,DBR,RS-MTF_1,CPIO,AOS/VS MTF BE-MTF-1. Which one of the VERITAS: NetBackup overides should I select for overiding an EDM tape format?

Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.

Bob,

In all seriousness I would tick them all. That's how I've had all my NBU systems set for several years. It does cover all the bases.

NBU uses a version of tar anyway, doesn't it?
