Hi all,
Maybe a very basic question which relates to windows 2003 dns setup, I've read in several sources that the preferred dns servers in tcp/ip properties should be set to the ip address of the DNS server itself, that is, the NON-ROUTABLE address. Is this true? and why? I have already used the DNS address provided by my ISP in that section (advanced properties of TCP/IP). Are there any security implications of one over the other? Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thankyou.
Drakul.
