Hi there,

1. Get C/C++ Compiler;
TurboC/Borland C++ at GCC and it's variants at www.
More resources are here:
2. Get subscribe with the site forums/mailing lists like this site, devguru, programmers heven etc..

3. Find out tutos, exampels online using this site.

4. got problemo post it on these forums and u got answer in a while.

5. Buy a good book on C basics.
Like Let us C- Yashavant Kanithar, ISBN: 81-7656-040-5;
Starting C, Programming in ANSI C, etc.
Ask for more good books in forums instead of going amazon like sites.

That's it!
