Where to Locate Autosave file?

Just as a further note. If you're trying to find the default location that AutoCAD saves automatic save file to, then open the options or preferences (depending on the version your'e using) dialog box - it's is the Tools menu uder either preferences or now options..

Then go to the Files tab and lok for the Automatic Save File Location in the list. Then click the + to see the default path.

Now the easiest way to find the directory it's pointing to is to select the path and click it (so you can select the text), then copy the the path and open any folder or directory you want or Windows Explorer. In the address bar at the top, paste the path and hit enter to find and open the autosave location. In there you should find the file you want..

Anyway, I hope this helps..
