where to keep my configuration of my components?

Hi,

i am developing components such as Data Access Layer
where will be the best place to keep my configuration?

NOTE: becouse the components are dll type of project
the relative path is unknown becouse any exe can consume the dll

You can use the registry, or random access file that is always kept in the same path as your dll, or even if you're not worried about someone opening it up and screwing with it, you can use an Access .mdb file and get your configuration settings.
