We are migrating an application to Open Server 5.0.7 which has come pre installed with the Apache web server. My question may appear to be somewhat basic, but I was wondering what the default path was to I would call the "web root" area.

On the our existing server we publish (using our application) to /usr/internet/ns_httpd/docs/

The sole .html file we place in here is served as the default page when a browser is pointed to the address
I'm assuming we must be able to do the same for Apache

Any help would be most appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply, indeed the default web page is in the path you specify. There are several index.html.language files. It appears the appropriate file is served depending on the local language setting e.g. In my case index.html.en is served.

I can now amend my application accordingly.

You may also have a look at the /usr/lib/apache/conf/httpd.conf file.

Hope This Helps, PH.
