Where is setting to conference up to 6 total people? 2

I'm pretty sure we were able to conference up to 6 people from our Avaya phone. After our upgrde to CM6.3 we can only conference 2 additional people. (a total of 3 on the call) Where is the setting to make this 6?

forgot to add that step 11 announcement 5034 says you are the first to join the meeting.

emswanson thanks but I'm just talking about picking up your handset and pressing the conference button to conference people into your call, not having people call in to a meetme conference.

Well, by default a phone only has 3 call appearances - and the last is restricted for transfer/conference. You would most likely need to program at least 6 call appearances on the station to do that.

Thinking in my head, I see a phone on a call, press conference, take the 2nd line, get the person on, press conference again to complete and that call would now only occupy a single "line" on my phone, but I think I'm right in the regard that in the background that 2 call appearances are used when doing that.

Stuff like this makes me feel like I should actually use Avaya phones more often...

Kyle you are correct that it takes an available call appearance to conference another party in but once conferenced you are only using 1 call appearance. We should be able to conference 5 people from our phones. (6 total on the call)

Detailed description of Conference
Use the Conference feature, with the associated
conf
button, to create a conference without
the assistance of an attendant.
A user with a multiple appearance telephone with a
conf
button can create a conference with
as many as six participants.
A user with a single-line telephone can create a conference with as many as three participants.
Each of these three participants can then add another participant. Thus, a user who has a
single-line telephone can create a conference call with as many as six participants.
Conference and DCP, hybrid, IP, wireless, and ISDN-BRI telephones
A user with a Digital Communications Protocol (DCP), hybrid, IP, wireless, or ISDN-BRI
telephones can use the Conference feature for a call on hold when:
• Only one call is on hold
• No call appearances are active
• An available call appearance exists for the conference call
If more than one call is on hold, the user must make a call active to start a conference. If the
user presses the
conf
button when two or more calls are on hold, the system ignores the
conference request from the user.
If the user has an active call, and also has calls on hold, the system includes the active call in
the conference when the user presses the
conf
button

AvayaTier3 that was it thanks. Somehow it was changed in the upgrade. There were a few other incidental changes just due to bad translations.
