Where is IMS stored?

Hi,
Our exchange server has "outgrown" it's hardware, so were moving it to new
hardware.
We would like to move the system partition rather than re-installing windows NT
and Exchange again.
Does anyone know where information regarding the IMC connector is held? is it just
in the Registry or is anything held in the Dir.edb?

I think you're right in thinking the IMS setting are contained in the dir.edb.....any chance of ghosting the disks???

The IMS has a key in the registry along with all the other services (HKLM\System\CCS\Services). It's config info is also in the directory. I would think the IMS would be the least of your worries. Just take screenshots and set up the new one the same as the old.
