Where is Boot File?

I had installed Windows 2003 and Windows XP. And a boot scrren appears after i turn on the computer.
I want to know where is the file responsible for this action?!

Well, it's the boot.ini file. You should have posted in the appropriate forum, this is the Windows 2000 Pro forum.

But to answer the question, you have a dual-boot setup and for Win2000 and WinXP with any other OS, the boot.ini is located in the root of the C: drive, C:\boot.ini. It can be edited to change the sequence. It can be deleted so the computer won't boot at all. It can be changed in WinXP by right-clicking the My Computer icon and Properties in the Advanced, Startup and Recover tab.

Forgot to mention, it's the same on Win2000.

Under an XP boot, right-click "My Computer", Properties, Advanced tab, Startup and Recovery - Settings, and edit the boot.ini file.

Under the XP boot you can also: Start, Run, msconfig.exe
There is a tab there as well to edit boot.ini settings.

Finally, under Recovery Console, the bootcfg command is quite easy to use and very powerfull:
