Where does my "New Host" option disappear to???

DNS running on W2K server, no AD.
Right click on Zone under Forward Lookups and usually I get the option "New Host". Now when I right click, the option isn't there. What am I missing????

Your OK you just didn't click enough. Try opening the forward zone, then double click on the zone you want to open ( it must expand out in the right pane) now you'll have that option.
Hope that helps..i had to go to my dns server and try it.

Thanks for the relply, but What I discovered was that I was on my secondary DNS server, not the primary. On the primary I get the expected options.

What confused me was that my secondary name server is named NS1 while my primary is NS2. I finally remembered I had switched them during a transition between new boxes.
