I have to agree with mThomas. Keep with PSP if you are doing web graphics. I find I can do pretty much the same thing in psp faster and easier than I can in photoshop. Most of the plugins for photoshop also work with psp as well I believe.
Photoshop / Quark /Illustrator is what all the companies seem to want you to have experience in at least around my area. Industry standard I suppose, wish it was psp though (=
