i just find that in VB6 i can't change color for any tabbed controls . Do u know about it .. or know where can i get some control help my work.

What do you mean by Colored Tab?
Assuming you mean a different color for each tab, do you want:

1. The complete tab including the client area?
2. The little tab at the top of the SSTab.

If #2, then
1. The back color?
2. The forecolor

To answer the above:

1. No. Need a third Party control (you could use a Frame and change the background color - a bit cheap though).

2. No. But you could remove the text on the active tab at run time, replacing it with a bitmap - looks pretty good, but creating the bitmap may be a little trouble at first, until you have the right color, size and text font.

On my application, I use a label to replace the text on the active tab and change the color to show which tab is active.

Yes, that is an option, as I said. But it may not look right enough.
I guess you could round the corners of the label, etc...

I don't change the background color of the label, just the text color. It was the easiest way to 'hightlight' the TAB.

Understand what you are saying rdavis.
Works nice for quick fixes.

SSTab: Another MS cheap buy.
