Where can I get a copy of linux

I set up my machine for several operating systems and would like to obtain a copy of linux on cd.

Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks

You can download copies of different Linux distrobutions from

http://www.linuxiso.org,

as well as each manufacturers website. I would recommend Red Hat.

You can always buy a boxed copy from any electronics store, such as Best Buy. You can buy cheap copies on CDR's from

http://www.cheapbytes.com.

You could also check out some of the linux training books available in most bookshops as they usually come with at least one linux distro on CD. Check what version you're getting first though, as they are not always terribly recent.
