where can I find and how do I get to %SystemRoot% on a WIN2K machine?

All you have top do is copy and paste that statement in your address bar and hit enter and it will take you to system root which is typically c:\windows.

I am at a dos prompt logged into my server, what do I type here to get to %SystemRoot%\Security\Database?

From command prompt

cd %systemroot%\Security\Database

typical system root in windows 2000 is c:\winnt.... windows 98 and xp it is usually c:\windows.... 95 may be c:\windows as well, but it's been a while since i've seen/used win 95...
