Where can I find a reg code in XP

Under Windows NT/2000/XP there are hidden files in the %SystemRoot%\System32\Config directory. You can not edit these files directly, you must use a tool commonly known as a "Registry Editor" Start > RUN > Regedit.exe to make any changes.
Don't delete any files in the directory! You will corrupt your system and have to restore.
