Hi:
I've a little problem regarding all IPLDK-XXX series,
Someone calls the CO lines and start call then We finished call and user hangup the phone.
But When user hangup the phone, suddenly phone ring again. Co line callback again.

Thanks...

I never faced these problems with ipLDK.
We have sold and installed these systems since 2001 with s/w 2.2 up to 3.8 for ipLDK-24/50/100/300 w/o having these problem, I am looking forward to hear your status update.

Hi again

Some of the following suggestions may seem a bit silly and obvious and you may have tried them already, if so then please ignore my post.

Are all the SLT phones the same type of analog phone? I have experienced a batch of handsets that caused 'cradle bounce'. (in other words... is it the actual phone)

Also are you able to reproduce the 'phantom ring' every time. Tip: Ask the user to reproduce the fault and watch them closely (in other words... is it the user?)

If you are able to then which way do you...
1. by replacing the handset or
2. by quickly depressing the hookswitch?

PGM142 BTN 13
Open Loop Detect Timer set to 10.
Try different settings between: (05 - 10)
I have used (06) at a site where (05) gave some trouble.

Why? I do not know... It just started working. As we all know, not all Telco exchanges are equal.

Like Doktor I am burning to see a resolution.

Hi everyone
I did have this probleme with S/W version 3.6 and previous, for both LDK100 and LDK20 but thankgod the 3.7 version fix it all.
I really think it's nation probleme can you tell us in which country is tis LDK system????

Hi Tarikk

Maybe you can tell me which country code you use?
Check with [TRANS/PGM]+72 and write the content of the display here in this forum.
In Europe you should try to use an European country code.

For myself it's OK the pb is solved with 3.7 version but I wanted to know which nation code yalcinatasever use to see if it's the same.
We use 216 as nation code and I think that LG fixed that pb with 3.7 version after too many complains for our side before this version.

Dear yalcinatasever
Do you have a status update of this issue?

Dear Yalcinatasever

Come on mate, tell us what's happened... even if it's not good news. Please man, don't disappear; I really want to know.

I have a very similar problem with an aria soho running 3.7 firmware. when an inbound call is recieved on line 1 after approx 1/2 second line 2 rings, the same occurs when line 1 is selected outbound. I have moved cable from co 2 socket to co 3 socket and placed line 2 into group 9. again when you sieze line 1 or make an inbound call line 2 rings even though it now has no physical connection to telco line. any help would be welcome.

Hi Bplacey

Sorry, the original problem that yalcinatasever submitted was on the IPLDK and occured on outbound calls on analogue lines. I believe you may need to start your own thread for a better chance of feed back.
It sounds like a hardware fault... a simple way to prove it may be to place a tone generator across line two and then access line 1 and see if tone breaks through... Good Luck!

Just to let everyone know problem was corruption in firmware and or customer database, I swapped out the aria on customer premises and re-programed from scratch problem went away, brought offending box back to HQ and tested on our lines, problem still there, factory defaulted box problem went away.

The original box was defaulted on site, but a copy of the original database was loaded back on top.

Hi bplacey

It is always important to initialize the systems (PGM450 in ipLDK and Menu 1 with GDK-16/20)...
A good common grounding is also a must.

Hi All,
I have just found this forum, and have been reading some of the threads.
I note that there has been no resolution for yalcinatasever.
I have some thoughts.
This sounds like 'hookswitch bounce'
It is not related to system software, rather the SLT(POT) phones being used.
You can reproduce this by making a call, pressing Recall(Flash) and then hanging up. The system sees the recall and then sees you hanging up, this would leave the call on hold, so the system rings you back.
There are three timers you should be looking at for the hookflash.
1, PGM 182 Key 2, this is teh Max hookflash timer, a break longer than this timer will be seen as an 'on hook'
2, PGM182 Key 3, this is the Min hookflash timer, a break less than this will be ignored.
These two timers give the hookflash 'window' and need to be set according to the 'timed break' of your device.
3, PGM 182 Key 1, this is the 'hookswitch bounce' and is there to guard against the symptoms you are getting.
It is possible on some phones for the hookswitch to bounce, so thath whwn you hang up the phone the lne will disconnect, bounce back up for a fraction, and disconnect again.
This can be seen as a recall and then disconnect, giving you the callback.
This timer is set to 100mS in default, so the system will see the disconnect and then wait for this timer to see if there is any other change in state.
If you are getting this hookswitch then increasing Key 1 will solve the problem.
