When trying to print reports such as trial balance I get a system erro

Hello,

I am running Sage Accpac ERP version 5.4A. We are running Accpac over a Microsoft SQL server. We have multiple users on different computers.

I have one user that has a problem printing anything from accpac. Not only reports, but trying to print a batch listing for example. Everytime he clicks print he gets this message:

Description: System Error. Cannot start the report. Write down the message. Exit ACCPAC and Windows. Restart and retry the operation. For more information, see Appendix A in the System Manager User Guide.

Delete the C:\Windows\Crystal folder on that computer and rerun Accpac Workstation setup or reinstall System Manager (whichever applies). This will recreate the Crystal folder and solves printing problems in most cases. You can also delete the _P.ISM files for that user in the Shared Data User folder.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried both suggestions and I still get the same error when I try to print from his machine. Any other suggestions?

I finally got it to work by manually changing all the registry sets after the reinstall.
