Anyone know why if I try to set Forward extension to extension using Feature F4 the phone will idle for a sec then read Feature Timeout??

Enter feature 4 and valid extension or code, if not valid will tell you not valid, otherwise should work.

If they are trying to forward to another Nortel off site that is point to point with this one will the Feature 4 still work?

They can dial intercom then dial the off site extension and it works but every time we try to do Feature 4 then enter the other site extension it wont take?????

Are they pressing OK after they enter the number? On a set with a single-line display (7208, 7100) I think you press "Hold" after entering the destination.

You forward to a number just as you would dial it from the intercom. If routing is set up and they can dial just the extension they should be able to enter F4 and the extension, then press OK. If they have to dial a pool or route code to call the extension, you have to insert that in the call forward dial sequence. One other thing, if the route is designated as an public route they will need to have redirect allowed in the set capabilities.
