When try to open some previously saved files , downloded from certain WEB sites receiving message:
“Warning: This page requires the use of scripts, which your browser does not currently allow.”
Search on Google, try to change Security level from Medium-High to Medium, then to disable Active Scripting, controlled in Advanced if SSL3 and TSL are checked, but this message appears again and file can not be opened.
Not sure where to locate this problem-in IE7, MS Office or KIS6 and how to solve it if possible.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is there any settings in your security programs, such as firewall that is blocking ActiveX, JavaScript etc?

You receive errors or you experience reduced functionality when you use the task pane in Office 2003

Hi linney,
Re firewall ,I have besides Windows firewall also Kaspersky (KIS 6.0.411) installed..
Don’t know if they interfere and causes a/m error.
I noticed this message when saving file as Web Archive from this URL:
After saving the file and try to reopen it from my Desktop, file just flash, then disappear and the Message in red appears.
Workaround and found when click “Edit” in Context Menu –highlighting previously icon of saved file- and save as Microsoft Word Document, file becomes readable.
Maybe “wn3” from MS not allow opening of saved file and produce this error message.
Fortunately since now this error message appear only in connection wit a/m URL .

I get the same "Warning: This page requires the use of scripts, which your browser does not currently allow." using that URL you supplied from IE7 in Vista.

That in my opinion tends to rule out problems at our end and suggest the site itself may be the problem.

Another browser, a small and simple uncomplicated one called OffByOne gave me this similar warning " warning:///This page requires the use of scripts, which your browser does not currently allow.
Status: Failed - unsupported scheme "warning".

dis you check your advanced tab in internet options to enable scripting

@linney
Thanks , I beleive as you say, the problem is this Web site.
@dennygee99,
Yes, scripting is enabled.
