If the query does not have any input prompts I can create a new report using the query.

As soon as I add a variable to the query I do not 'see' it when I add a new report.

if query

WHERE Scores.`H1Score` > 0 AND
Scores.`ScreenName` = "xxx" AND
(Scores.`ScoreLevel` = 1 OR
Scores.`ScoreLevel` = 3)

I see it

if like the following I don't

WHERE Scores.`H1Score` > 0 AND
Scores.`ScreenName` = passScreenName AND
(Scores.`ScoreLevel` = 1 OR
Scores.`ScoreLevel` = 3)

One last thing - when I run the query inside of Access I am prompted for passScreenName. It works fine.

I just don't 'see' the query in Crystal

Any Ideas

thanks

There is s know issue where crystal does not support a MS Access query with a parameter. I first heard of this probably 6 months ago.

Just use the entire data set as your data source in crystal and put your parameters and receord selection login in the crystal report.

Thanks a lot, I will do that. Since the record set is realitively small, it is of no conscequence.
