When scheduling a report I can set the default format to PDF, can the same be done when a report is viewed on demand or will it always create the report in the standard Crystal Reports format in the Crystal viewer?

View-on-Demand always creates the report in the standard Crystal Reports *.RPT format in the viewer.

The PDF option is only available for SCHEDULED reports.

The ActiveX viewer allows you to save the output to PDF. Once you've generated the report just Save As to PDF format.
