When saving a book to PDF, I get error message "Cannot open Ch.3"

However, CH.3 appears to be fine (with no .lck file) when opened and navigated.

Is there anything not-evident that could be causing the file to be corrupt?

Thanks for any info!

What happens if you open all the files in your book before saving as PDF?

If you don't open your files first, and Frame comes across some kind of error when opening a file (e.g., missing fonts), you might get something like what you described.

For the record, I open all the files in my book whenever I do anything book-wide. You'd be amazed at how much faster book-wide commands run if you already have all the files open.

The fastest way to open alle files of a book is to select the book window, pressing the SHIFT-Key and then opening the Files-Menu. The "Open"-Command is now displayed as "open all files of the book".

The same procedure can be done with "save all files of the book" and "close all files of the book" - very timesaving options ...
