I have installed the Q fix¡¦s for NINDA on my server, and the Drive $ Shares disappeared, this has caused my backup system to stop (Veritas Backup Exec 8.6). Since this time I have removed the Q fixes from my system, but the shares still disappear every time I re-boot the server. I can manual re-set the shares, but this is a pain.
Any help ļ

Hi, It sounds like the software has disabled this registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
Configure the AutoShareServer and AutoShareWks values to 1 (one) and every time you log on, the server will automatically re-create the admin shares.
