Hi,

I am using CR 7 and VB 6 and Access 2000. When I preview the report it is shown perfectly fine. but when I print it, some of the label fields are reduced to smaller font size and (maybe due to this) are moved to left hand side.

What could be the reason ?

Please help.

Thanks and Regards,
Aditi

Check the print driver being used, and for any missing fonts.

If you create the report against a HP Laser, using true type fonts, and then pring it to a Ink Jet printer, the drivers may render differently, and Crystal bases the initial design on the printer.

Try adding in a little extra space to allow for this at design time.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I will check the drivers and fonts.

As or allowing some space, my main problem is, report shows the database fields in proper position and with proper font but reduces the font and displaces the labels(fixed strings) in the report. Why is that ?

Regards,
Aditi
