Hi,

I have worked, on and off, for many years with the iSDX/Realitis. Some of the more recent versions now use the HiPath branding, e.g. HiPath DX and DXR. I have also seen the Realitis DX150E referred to as a HiPath DX150E. The HiPath name is also used for later versions of the Hicom. What I am after is a definitive list of which HiPaths are DX based and which Hicom based?

Many thanks,

As from software release 8.0.051 ALL DX's ( i.e isdx S/L/T/Micro and Realitis DX/DX150/DX150E/DX150R/DXR*/DXR ) are referred to as Hipath DX by siemens.

None of the systems in the 'DX' range are Hicom based - totally different system despite what Siemens have tried to do over the past 15 years.

The description 'Hipath DX' appears as part of the system software header from 8.0.051 onwards and the system itself should have a very pretty sticker on it saying Hipath DX.

Other than that they are just the same hardware as earlier releases ( with the exception of System Card control group from level 8 onwards )

Probably a marketing stunt by the boys and girls at Wellingborough/Beeston

All the best.

Many thanks for this information Pablo100. Waiting for a response on the Hicom forum as it appears we now have both the DX and Hicom variants of HiPath!
