i bought a used computer and it had a Samsung SD-612B DVD-Rom on it
i didnt recieve any software with the computer
i tried to play a dvd in the drive and an error message comes up that reads:
Windows cannot access the spedified device, path, or file. You may not have the apporpriate permissions to access the item.
then if i run the dvd again, a different error comes up that says:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.

im not sure what that means

any help will be useful
thank you

Sounds like a software issue. What OS are you running and do you have administrator rights to it?

im running Windows ME

its my computer, i have access to everything...

it seems like that is reffering to a problem while opening internet explorer...
To work around this issue, do not click to select the Internet Explorer icon when you select multiple icons, or double-click each icon one at a time.

im not sure what to do
