when i hit test movie flash give illegal opp.!!

whenever i test a movie that has buttons on it i get and illegal operation. what the heck can i do about this i am a web page designer and i cannot put up my web site without the swf file help mee!!

Maybe your installation of Flash is corrupt, Have you tryed re-installing it. I had a different problem, but once I uninstalled, then re-installed everything worked perfectly.
Give it a shot, doesn't sound like you got much to lose if you cant even create movies with buttons on them.

How much memory do you have? This is usually why Illegal Opp happens.

The given answers are absolutely right answers. I have a doubt. have you had this problem whenever you try to test
a flash file to moveie or a particular file.

If it is a particular file, the file's properties might be corrupted. For all the time you are getting this problem means it is better to reinstall the software.
