When deleting mails from the mailbox

by the screen capture she sent me, she was trying to delete a good emails at a time, but not more than say 300 itmes.
but i have had a look at other entries from other forums, and they speak about recreating a replica of the server mailbox, which then removes those itmes which have the errors.
